Michal Cenek

Michal Cenek

In 2015, Michal has joined Czech Trade at the position of Managment Consultant in Chicago. Before CzechTrade Michal worked at Backer & McKenzie (2008 – 2015) at the various positions in both Prague and Chicago offices focusing in the sphere of Business Development and Global Emerging Markets. Michal is also experienced in working as a Practice Development Manager at White & Case (2005 – 2008) and as a Coordinator for IBM (1996 – 2005).

While working at Baker & McKenzie as a Business Development Manager, Michal was responsible for all countries where Baker & McKenzie did not have a presence, prioritizing Africa, Central & South America, Central Eastern Europe, South East Europe, South East Asia, among others. He also played an integral part in opening new offices in Qatar, Turkey, South Africa, Morocco, and Peru.
Michal obtained his BA and MBA degree at the University of Economics in Prague and also graduated from the Faculty of Law at Charles University in Prague.
Lukáš Porkert

Lukáš Porkert

In 2008, Lukáš has joined Dentons (formerly Salans) at the position of Business Development & Marketing Manager of Salans Prague and Bratislava offices. Before Dentons Lukáš worked at White & Case (2005 – 2008) at the various positions business development & marketing positions in their Prague office. From 1998 to 2001, Lukáš worked as a Real Estate Paralegal at Linklaters Prague office.

Lukáš obtained his MA degree at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University in Prague and also studied at the Faculty of Law at Charles University in Prague.
