Pavla Gomba

Pavla Gomba

Pavla Gomba has been CEO at the UNICEF Czech Republic since 2000. She currently directs operations of the $ 3.5 million entity, overseeing finances, external relations, fundraising development, human resources and administrative affairs. She also provides leadership for a team of 16 people. Before Pavla joined the UNICEF Czech Republic she worked as a Consultant to the Town Treasurer for Municipality of Masvingo in Zimbabwe, as a Business Development Analyst at the Dutch Chamber of Commerce, and as an Executive Assistant at the Commercial Section at Royal Danish Embassy.
Pavla graduated from the University of Economics in Prague, majored in Finance, and she pursues her Ph.D. degree at the Technical University of Ostrava.
Miroslav Uřičař

Miroslav Uřičař

Miroslav Uřičař is Vice President of the Legal, Regulatory and External Affairs Department and General Counsel for T-Mobile Czech Republic a.s., a company for which he has been employed since 1999. Mr. Uřičař graduated from the Faculty of Law at Charles University in Prague and has worked as legal counsel in the corporate sector, including for OKD a.s. before joining T-Mobile. He also participates in international projects within the Deutsche Telekom AG Group. His areas of specialty include administrative law and regulatory issues related to network industries, especially the electronic communications industry, including aspects involving competition law issues.
Mr. Uřičař is the chairman of the legislative committee of the Czech Association for Competition Law. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Mobile Network Operators and a member of the Executive Council of UNICEF Czech Republic. He has published in professional journals, is a member of the editorial board of the International In-house Counsel Journal, and occasionally lectures at conferences and seminars.
